1、pair 讀音：英 [pe?(r)]；美 [per] 　 　

釋義：n. 一對；一雙；一副 v. （使）成對；（使）配對

2、用法示例如下：

（1）用作名詞 (n.)

The newly married couple are really a happy pair.

那對新婚夫婦真是快樂的一對。

（2）用作動詞 (v.)

The teacher paired us off for the purpose of the exercise.

為了做練習，老師把我們分成一對一對。
