菜園用英語怎麼寫標準的

在我們學校操場的東邊，有一片菜園，因為我們都玩過開心農場（其實是“qq”農場），所以我們就叫它“開心農場”。

開心農場是2011年建成的，它有許多好處，既讓我們體驗到農民伯伯的田園生活；又讓我們知道糧食是多麼的來之不易。 我們的開心農場種了好多菜呀，例如：青椒、花菜、大蒜、玉米等。

記得有一次，我和丁海越趁著大課間去了菜地，"哇，農場裡好多菜呀，可都沒有熟。”我情不自禁（注：感情激動得控制不住自己）地說。

丁海越說：“是呀！”記得還有一次，那是三年級的一個下午，我們去了菜地看小苗，雖然看小苗沒什麼意思，但大家都還是興致勃勃地去看小苗，到了菜地大家你一言，我一語的地討論了起來：有的說：“小苗長得好慢。”有的說：“真希望他們快點長大。”

還有的說：“小苗，小苗，快快長。”記得開興農場快弄好的時候，真懷念，那一次，大家都對小苗沒興趣，但是大家也還是熱火朝天（ 注：形容群眾性的活動情緒激烈，氣勢高漲，就像熾熱的火焰照天燃燒一樣 ）地幹了起來，我們有的除草、有的犁地、有的撒種子、有的施肥、還有的澆水。

這就是我們的開心農場，現在每天看著農場上各種蔬菜茂盛的生長著，我就覺得開心，你開心嗎？我不知道，反正我很開心。

Experts say lettuce is one of the easiest vegetables to grow in your garden. The best time to plant the seeds is during cool weather. Advisers at the University of Illinois Extension say the best planting temperature is fifteen degrees Celsius.專家稱，生菜是菜園裡最易種植的蔬菜之一，涼爽天氣是播種的最佳時間。伊利諾伊大學推广部門的園藝顧問表示，播種的最佳溫度是攝氏15度。

Lettuce seeds are small, so do not place them too deep in the ground. If you plant some seeds every week or two, you will have harvests ready to eat one after another.生菜的種子小，所以不要在土裡埋得太深，如果每一到兩週播一些種子，你將能得到源源不斷的生菜供應。You can use a seed tray to start the seeds indoors. The container should be deep enough to hold at least three centimeters of soil.你可以用播種盤在室內播種，容器的深度要至少可以盛下3釐米高的土。

There should be about one centimeter of space between the soil and the top of the container. The container should have holes in the bottom so extra water can flow out.在土壤與容器口要有1釐米的空間，容器底部要有小洞，以便多餘水分排出。Drop the seeds over the surface and cover them lightly with soil. 要勤澆水，但是不要澆太多。Harvest leaf lettuces when the leaves are big enough to eat. Pull the leaves from the outside of the planting so the inside leaves will keep growing. Or, you can cut off the whole plant. Leave about two or three centimeters above the ground so the plant will re-grow. Cut off head lettuces at ground level.當葉子長到能食用的時候，就可以採摘葉生菜了。

把生菜外面的葉子摘下來，這樣裡面葉子能繼續生長。或者，你可以把整個生菜割下來，在地面上留2到3釐米的根莖，這樣生菜還能重新生長。

如果是結球生菜，就沿著地平面割下來。Lettuce is best when served fresh. Store the remainder in the refrigerator in a plastic bag. It will last a few days and sometimes longer.新鮮的生菜是最好的，剩下的生菜應該用塑料袋裝好放入冰箱儲存，可以儲存幾天甚至更長時間。
