There be句型是常見的特殊句型，用以表示某物某事存在或不存在。

句中的there只起引導作用，並無實際意義，句子的真正主語是謂語動詞be後面的名詞。There be句型有多種表現形式，可以用來表達多種複雜的含義。

1.There be與情態動詞連用 There be句型中的謂語動詞be可與各種情態動詞連用，表示"一定有"、"可能有"、"應該有"等含義。例如： He felt that there must be something wrong.他感到一定是出了錯兒。
