honors math就是被math faculty錄取了，但是沒有專業。

很多人都是這麼進來的，因為定專業是第二年第三年的事情 而math系下1A1B（頭兩個學期）的課程幾乎完全一樣，你以任何專業進來上的課和honors math都是一樣的。uw的轉專業，一般是指你跨系換專業，比如math-》arts, math-》sci （我有個朋友想去學economy，就算是這種，因為econ是arts系下的） 我覺得你的意思是在math系下轉專業，這個是隨便的，叫declare major，但是program沒有變仍然是bachelor math，就是2A（第三個學期）開始最晚3A(5th term)，去找adviser填張表就行，按照你自己的想法declare，沒有任何其他要求，一般就是你avg夠70，學過該專業的2 3年級的課程，並且那個課的分數不是太低就行（一般要求major course avg 80+-85+） 比如說amath要求是學過amath 250 正在學amatstrong31 amatstrong61中的一個 pmath要求是math 245 247（或者235 237分數夠高） actsci要求是學過stat230 231 actsci 231 正在學actsci 232 371 stat的要求是學過stat 230 231 正在學 stat 330 331 332 333 。

中的幾個之類的 具體要求不是特別固定，根據你的成績有關，一般都讓declare，如果adviser說不行，就會跟你說，你下學期學什麼什麼課，然後成績到多少多少，然後再來找我。regular錄取可以轉coop，只有一次機會，就是1b的時候申請，錯過了就轉不了了，競爭有點激烈，一般大一努力下就行。

我認識的1A1B的avg夠90的都轉成功了。而且1A1B的課其實挺簡單的。

總之，想轉coop的同學，第一年稍微努力一下吧。ps1：如果是toefl不夠，讀elas 4 level的話，是正式入學的那個學期轉coop，錯過就沒機會了。

elas term也算一個term，所以正式入學的term是1B ps2：雖然你是honors math進來，但是自己應該還是對將來的專業有點想法吧，所以第一年的課程還是儘量往你的專業側重，因為math系第一年一共有4門自選課，稍微按照自己的情況選下。注意：amath： 必修phys 121 122 （其他專業可以選phys 111 phys 112，但是amath是必修 phys 121 122 如果想學 amath或者math physics就選前面的） actsci or stat: econ 101 102 afm 1xx記不住了（精算加上eng 119） pure math或者math finance（這個是精算下的一個專業） 必修math 145 147（選 135 137是不行的） cs必修 cs 135 或者145(115是不行的) 如果你不符合上面的所有情況，那就隨便選吧。

儘量選容易拿高分的課程，例如econ phys chem。如果有個人興趣，學些mythology，哲學，心理學也可以，反正只要是introduction的課都很簡單就是了。

畢業要求10個non math course,1A1B能拿4個。ps3：這條看個人情況了，建議coop學生，特別是英語不夠好的，學cs，至少學個cs minor。

雖然cs課對很多人來說很難，但是找工作的確有好處。也就說不要上cs 115，而是上cs135 or 145。

ps4：你是fall term入學吧，如果現在在國內很閒，那麼自己從網上下載一個drscheme熟悉下程式設計環境，還有稍微看下國內大一的calculus 和linear algebra都是有好處的，看國內寫給經濟學的calculus就行，難度上足夠了。雖然說這個系是math系，但是其實本質是各種專業的混雜，數學課難度也就和國內經濟系的數學課難度差不多（除非你學math145 147） ps5：感覺advanced course對轉coop有點幫助，就是math 145 147 cs145，請按照個人實力選擇，當然math 135 137 拿95+肯定比math 145 147拿80要好。

另外如果是將來想繼續讀graduate school的話，就不要coop了，感覺沒什麼幫助，不如早畢業。
