1、日期的寫法（書面語）和讀法（口語）稍有不同：

日期寫法宜遵從下列規則：

4）在年份和月日之間必須用逗號隔開；

5）日期不可全部採用如7.12.2003或7/12/2003的阿拉伯數字書寫，否則會引起誤解。因為英美在這方面的習慣用法不同。按美國人習慣，上述日期為2003年7月12日，而按英國習慣則是2003年12月7日。
